Kadar Al-Sayf, destiny of the sword, was raised an Assassin of Masyaf. Orphaned at a young age and raised largely by his older brother, Malik, Kadar always knew he wanted to be an Assassin; wanted to don the whites that all the Masters had and help make the world a better place, safe from the Templars and their influence.

Of course, becoming a Master Assassin was hard, and for someone like Kadar, who was as kind-hearted as anything else, the struggle was long. Eventually, he was sent on a mission to Solomon's Temple, accompanied by his brother as well as another Master Assassin, Altaïr. Things ended up as well as no one would expect: Altaïr blew their cover quickly, resulting in Malik losing an arm during his escape, and Kadar getting stabbed through.

Kadar, predictably, died, there in Solomon's Temple, still in his novice grays, the dream of being a Master Assassin forever removed him him.
